We warmly invite healthcare and appropriately qualified aesthetic practitioners to take part in our CPD-accredited Autologous (platelet derived) Exosome (AutologIX) Training, delivered by experienced clinical trainers across selected locations in the UK.
This advanced training programme provides a structured, evidence-based introduction to autologous exosome therapy, focusing on safe clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and hands-on competence using the validated AutologIX system.
The course combines in-depth theoretical education with supervised practical training, ensuring participants gain both scientific understanding and real-world clinical confidence. Training groups are intentionally kept small (maximum 4–6 participants) to allow individual guidance, close supervision, and the highest quality learning experience.

Course Overview
This CPD-accredited activity covers the scientific foundations of extracellular vesicles (EVs) and platelet-derived exosomes (PTL-EXO), their role in cellular communication and regeneration, and their safe clinical application using an autologous, minimally manipulated workflow.
Participants will receive detailed instruction on the full AutologIX protocol, including:
- Venepuncture and biological sample handling
- PRP preparation and plasma isolation
- Ultrafiltration using the ProtSmart6 (Class IIa) device
- Use of IDRIA-G (Class IIb) medical tubes or PRP1 Class II tubes, depending on training configuration
- Recovery of hyper-concentrated autologous exosomes
- Safe injection techniques and anatomical considerations
- Indications, contraindications, risk management, and aftercare
All content is delivered in line with UK MHRA guidance, EU MDR / UKCA medical device regulations, and current professional standards.
Theoretical Training Includes
- Biology and classification of extracellular vesicles and exosomes
- Differences between exosomes, microvesicles, and apoptotic bodies
- Mechanisms of action of platelet-derived exosomes (PTL-EXO)
- Autologous vs allogeneic exosome therapies
- Legal and regulatory positioning of autologous exosome procedures
- Clinical indications and treatment planning
- Contraindications, adverse event management, and patient safety
- Documentation, consent, and professional responsibilities
Practical Training Includes
- Live trainer demonstration of the complete AutologIX workflow
- Supervised hands-on practice with venepuncture and PRP preparation
- Correct setup and operation of the AutologIX ultrafiltration system
- Safe handling and recovery of the final exosome concentrate
- Injection techniques adapted to aesthetic and trichology applications
- Post-treatment care and follow-up protocols
Each participant performs procedures under direct supervision to ensure competence, safety, and correct technique.
Assessment & Certification
This training includes structured assessment to meet CPD standards:
- Written assessment
- Multiple-choice (MCQ) examination
- Oral questioning
- Practical skills assessment
- Case study evaluation
Successful participants who meet all competency criteria receive a CPD-certified certificate confirming their training in Autologous Exosome Treatments using the AutologIX system.
Who Can Attend
- Doctors, dentists, nurses and other regulated healthcare professionals
- Non-medical practitioners with prior experience in PRP, phlebotomy, or injectable aesthetic procedures (subject to suitability assessment)
All participants must demonstrate competence in basic aseptic technique and comply with local clinical governance requirements.
Training Format
- Small group masterclass (max. 4-6 participants)
- Combination of lecture-based learning and practical hands-on training
- CPD accredited activity
- Delivered at selected UK locations or as a dedicated in-clinic session
