“The Role of Biomimetic Signaling in the MEC Regenerate® Extracellular Matrix Regeneration System.”

A new approach to skin biostimulation supported by retrospective clinical observations gathered during the pre-market clinical evaluation phase of the product. 
MEC Regenerate® is an advanced system designed to support extracellular matrix remodelling, which is currently undergoing the conformity assessment process in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR). The manufacturer, the Italian company 303Pharma, has launched a structured programme to collect real-world clinical evidence and conduct a multicentre observational evaluation aimed at supporting the clinical evaluation process for the device. As part of this process, a retrospective observational study has been launched in Poland, United Kingdom and Italy. Preliminary observations gathered during the evaluation indicate a favourable tolerability profile and a clinically appreciable improvement in certain parameters related to skin quality and tissue laxity in the middle and lower third of the face. The full results of the evaluation will be further developed and discussed in the context of the clinical evaluation activities currently underway.

Dr. Cemal Kavasogullari is a medical doctor, international educator, and thought leader in aesthetic medicine, longevity, digital health, and medical leadership. He is Co-Founder and Medical Director of Esteem Life Medical Group, an award-winning clinic recognised for its innovative approach to aesthetic and longevity-focused care.

A graduate of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Kavasogullari has trained and worked within leading healthcare institutions in both Turkey and the United Kingdom, including University College London and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, gaining experience in head and neck surgery, breast surgery, primary care, and aesthetic medicine. He subsequently completed General Practice training in Glasgow and earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from Queen Mary University of London, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Health Systems from the University of Strathclyde and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Babson College.
